01. Brand background
As a pioneering and trendy jewelry brand under Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group, MONOLOGUE has been dedicated to creating fashionable jewelry that combines cultural depth and emotional warmth for Generation Z since its establishment, with the core concept of "KNOW ME OR NO ME, not waiting for you to understand me". Through technological innovation, cross-border collaborations and sustainable practices, the brand has broken the rigid framework of traditional jewelry and become a "trendy language" for the younger generation to express their attitudes.
02. Project Design
In the great wave of youth-oriented jewelry retail brands, how to carry infinite expression within a limited space has become an important issue that both brands and space design teams are jointly confronted with.
This time, we have collaborated with the avant-garde and trendy jewelry brand - MONOLOGUE to jointly create a new store space of only 56 square meters at Tianyi Square in Ningbo.
At the early stage of the project, we first conducted a comprehensive interpretation and spatial disassembly of SI standard parts, covering aspects such as brand color, lighting language, display modules, as well as craftsmanship materials and edge finishing... Every standard component has been re-adapted and refined by us to ensure it is precisely positioned in a 56-square-meter space, neither too much nor too little, just right.
To align with the brand's emphasis on a "retro and trendy" visual tone, we boldly used retro black metal frames, black 6C gold accessories, and custom terrazzo countertops during the display cabinet manufacturing stage. We hand-polished the surface texture to restore the quality and express the attitude.
All cabinet bodies are sampled one-to-one by Picsharping factory and confirmed through several rounds of board making. Especially for the jewelry core island cabinet, we have hidden the light source structure in the corner design. This not only enhances the highlight presentation of the product but also avoids visual congestion, creating a natural focus in the space.
03. Plan Presentation
MONOLOGUE has always led the trend of expression among Generation Z with its attitude and philosophy of "KNOW ME OR NO ME, not waiting for you to understand me", and the brand SI also maintains a highly unified sense of avant-garde, musicality and conflict aesthetics.
In a space of only 56 square meters, we adopted a strategy of "circular circulation + zoned focus" to enable customers to form a natural walking path around the brand's main visual as soon as they stepped into the store.
· The first section catches the eye with its new product display area
· The middle section of the island cabinet serves as the visual focal point
· The left wall uses high cabinet layers to create a layered display
· A mirror and a cash register are set at the end to complete the closed loop
The circulation is natural and smooth, and even during peak hours, there is no sense of congestion. After the actual completion, it not only fully replicates the brand's SI effect but also leaves sufficient rhythm space for product sales and social promotion.
